Boko Haram has been degraded – Osinbajo

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday said Boko Haram terrorists have been considerably weakened by the military. Osinbajo, who fielded questions from journalists after receiving briefings from Security Chiefs noted that the terrorists still had the capability to use suicide bombers said the military will not rest on its oars.

Court strikes out 6 charges against Nnamdi Kanu

A Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed six charges brought against leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu by the Federal Government. The charges bordered on “ownership of unlawful society, illegal importation of radio transmitters and researching on how to make improvised explosive devices”.

 

Candidates with awaiting results can apply for UTME – JAMB

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has dismissed reports that it has scrapped awaiting results for prospective candidates. There had been reports that the examination body has barred candidates awaiting their ordinary level results from sitting for the UTME exams.
