Nigerians are not letting Abike Dabiri off

Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Abike Dabiri is taking major Ls from Nigerians on Twitter following her belated and almost insensitive response to the state burial Italy gave to the 26 Nigerian girls who drowned in the Mediterranean Sea weeks ago.

Mrs Dabiri is questioning the ‘hurried burial’ claiming the Italian government did not get the consent of the Nigeria’s FG. But that’s not really the problem of Nigerians on Twitter…everyone is just concerned about how to put an abrupt end to trafficking.

See:

Why should we complain about Italy burying the 26 women at all? What Nigeria owes Italy in the case of these women is gratitude first and then cooperation to ensure this does not happen again. It does not speak well of us as a nation to complain that their burial was ‘hasty’. – Ben Murray-Bruce (@benmurraybruce) November 21, 2017

Shameless Nigeria Political Leaders always shift the blame to others. Are we not really ashamed that we have human beings crossing Mediterranean Sea to seek a better life? @abikedabiri do not destroy your credibility and don’t defend insanity. — Blessing Ogbe (@BlessIza) November 20, 2017

Apparently, the robbers who were arrested confessed that Burna Boy hired them through his manager and paid them N100,000 for the operation.

But hey, we’re here to see where this leads. Meanwhile, let’s be LOLing away…
